Come ride with us through the beautiful Lehigh River Gorge. This is our most popular 3 - 5 hour,
25-mile, downhill biking daytrip. You ride along the slight downhill grade of an abandoned railroad bed and follow the river all the way through the Lehigh Gorge State Park. As you pedal at your own pace, you will see fantastic rock formations, tumbling waterfalls, and abundant wildlife. You can picnic at one of the little picnic stops along the trail, explore the ruined locks of the former Lehigh Canal, or marvel at the Penn Haven Planes - a relic from the early railroad era. This trip begins and ends at our Adventure Center. We shuttle you to your starting point and pick you up at your destination. Rates begin at only $15.00 per person. Mid-Way Lehigh River Gorge - A 99%
Downhill Trail

If you do not have the time or inclination to pedal the whole Lehigh River Gorge Rail Trail, we can drop you off at the mid-way point. This option is a 2 - 4 hour, 15-mile, 99% gentle downhill ride allowing you to arrive later and have a very enjoyable afternoon. We transport you and your bike to the trailhead. Your Bike, More Trails - Experience the Hottest Biking in the East

Jim Thorpe is a hotbed for biking with numerous trails ranging from our famous Lehigh Gorge Rail Trail to screaming technical downhills for the truly insane. We can rent you bikes, provide shuttle service & free maps, or just answer your questions about the best trails in the East. A few of these Trails are listed below...

Broad Mountain - The Broad Mountain is an intermediate to expert ride with overlooks, stream crossings, loop trails, and 20 miles of single track. This is a very popular riding area with fantastic scenery.

Buzzards Point - Buzzards Point is an intermediate, 12-mile, woodlands out and back trail. Miles of double track lead you to a 1000-foot overlook of the Lehigh River Gorge and a whole lot more. Stop by our Adventure Center for free maps and advice.

Twin Peaks - Twin Peaks is an advanced ride following the Mauch Chunk Ridge, on the Fire Line Trail. It features 20 miles of single track riding with screaming powerline descents.

Psycho Betty's Revenge - Psycho Betty is an intermediate, 12-mile, out and back ride. It features scenic overlooks and rolling single-track terrain. If you are looking for even more excitement, you can combine this trail with the Twin Peaks ride!

Lehigh Canal - The Lehigh Canal is a 13-mile, mostly level, out and back towpath trail. It is very popular with beginners, families, and youth groups. This trail, which was built to transport coal, extends from Jim Thorpe to Parryville.
