Directions to Pocono Whitewater Adventures
Rafting on the Lehigh River, Kayaking, Biking and Skirmish

 

From Metro New York/Northern New Jersey

Take I-80 from George Washington Bridge through Delaware Water Gap. Take PA
Exit # 284 (Blakeslee) South on 115 for 2 miles to 903 South. Take 903 South for 10 miles - Pocono Whitewater Adventures/Skirmish USA is on the right -directly on 903.


ALTERNATE DIRECTIONS for JUNE 8th and JULY 27th.  There is a Nascar Race at Pocono Raceway on 6/8 and 7/27 which requires you to use an alternate exit to avoid major traffic delays.
Please use the following directions on these two dates:
I-80 to exit 274 (Hickory Run State Park).  Travel East on Rt 534 for approximately 10 miles until you reach the intersection of Rt 903. Make a right onto Rt 903 South, we are 6 miles down the road on the right...directly on 903.

From Upper NY, Syracuse, & Scranton PA

Take I-81 South to 476 (N.E. Extension of PA Turnpike). Take 476 South to Exit #95 (Pocono). Then take I-80 East one exit to Exit #284 Blakeslee. Turn right on Route 115 for 2.0 miles, then turn right onto Route 903 South. Follow 903 South for 10 miles Skirmish USA/Pocono Whitewater is on the right, directly on 903.

From Central New Jersey

Take I-78 to Allentown, and then travel North on 309 to US 22 W. Follow US22 W. to PA 476 Turnpike (NE Extension). Take 476 North to Exit 74, Mahoning Valley **This is the first exit AFTER you go thru the Lehigh Tunnel, it's old exit #34.

Pay your toll, then take the left exit ramp and bear to the left. Turn left onto Rt. 209, then make an almost immediate left onto Harrity Road. Go over small concrete bridge (you'll see Platz's restaurant on the right). Follow Harrity Road to the end. Turn right, follow Pocono Whitewater signs up the mountain to Rt. 903. Then turn right onto Route 903 north and follow 3.8 miles to Pocono Whitewater Adventures/Skirmish USA. We're on the left, directly on 903.

From Philadelphia

Take Northeast Extension of PA Turnpike (476, formerly 9), to Exit 74 (Mahoning Valley) - continue as for Central NJ.

From Harrisburg PA, Baltimore MD, and Washington, D.C.

Take I-81 North to I-78 East to 476 (Pa Turnpike). Take Exit 74 (Mahoning Valley). Continue as for Central NJ.

From New York City - 2 hours
From Philadelphia - 90 minutes
From Baltimore - 3 hours

Directions to our Hudson River Center
Located in North Creek, NY
Check-in for the Hudson River is at the Copperfield Inn in North Creek, NY
 

From Albany, NY

Take I-87 North to Exit 23 (Warrensburg). Make a left off ramp. Make a right at the traffic light onto Route 9 North. Follow Route 9 until you reach Route 28. Bear left at the fork in the road and go approximately 16 miles north on Route 28 to the Village of North Creek.  Make a right onto Ski Bowl Road and follow signs to Main Street.  Hudson Whitewater World is adjacent to the Copperfield Inn, in North Creek, NY.

From New York City, NY

Take I-87 (NY State Thruway) North to Exit 24 (Albany). After getting off Exit 24, continue on I-87 North and follow the Albany directions above to the Copperfield Inn.

From Utica, Rochester, Buffalo, and Toronto

Take I-90 East to Exit 24 (Albany). After you get off at Exit 24, continue on I-87 North. Follow Albany directions above to the Copperfield Inn.

From Pennsylvania

Take I-80 East to Exit 52. Merge onto Route 209 North. Follow 209 North to I-84 East. Take the 7S Exit (Rt. 300 South/Union Ave.) towards I-87 (NY Thruway). Merge onto Union Avenue. Take the I-87 ramp towards the Thruway. Merge onto I-87 North. Get off at Exit 24 (Albany/Montreal). Merge onto I-87 North and follow the Albany directions above to the Copperfield Inn.

Approximate Driving Times to the Hudson River

From New York City - 5 hours
From Philadelphia - 6 hours
From Baltimore - 9 hours
From Hartford, Connecticut - 3.5 hours

Directions to our Moose River Center
Located in Old Forge, NY
Check-in for the Moose River is at Clark's Beach Motel in Old Forge, NY
 

From Albany, NY

Take I-87 North to Exit 23 (Warrensburg). Make a left off ramp. Make a right at the traffic light onto Route 9 North. Follow Route 9 until you reach Route 28. Make a left onto Route 28. Stay on Route 28 until you reach Clark's Beach Motel in Old Forge.

From New York City, NY

Take I-87 (NY State Thruway) North to Exit 24 (Albany). After getting off Exit 24, continue on I-87 North and follow the Albany directions above to Clark's Beach Motel in Old Forge.

From Utica, Rochester, Buffalo, and Toronto

Take I-81 North and get off at Exit 6 (US-11) towards Route 12 (Chenagno Br./Norwich). Turn right onto US-11. Stay straight to go onto NY-12. Take Route 28 North ramp towards Old Forge. Merge onto NY-28. Follow NY-28 until you reach the Clark's Beach Motel in Old Forge, across from McDonalds.

From Pennsylvania

Take Route 476 (Northeast Extension of Pennsylvania Turnpike) North to the I-81 Exit towards Binghamton/Wilkes-Barre. Merge onto I-81 North. Follow Utica directions above to Clark's Beach Motel in Old Forge.

Approximate Driving Time to the Moose River

From New York City - 5 hours
From Philadelphia - 6 hours
From Baltimore - 9 hours
